About TTT (Through The Tunnel)

What is TTT ( Through The Tunnel ) ?

TTT is the group originally based upon the members of the amateur footsal team
in Tokyo named "Saginomiya FC".

The name of TTT comes from "Yukiguni –Country of Snow-" which is the novel written by Yasunari Kawabata.
We got together because we want to laugh one another with children suffered by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
We touch, call our names and laugh one another through playing soccer.
We are taking action because of the passion for spending such normal weekend with children in disaster area.

Just for children's smile

Just for children's smile

School grounds in disaster areas have been given over to temporary housing, and that children are losing their opportunities to play thoroughly in large playground.
We saw such situation, and started our actions to produce the opportunity that children can play to their hearts' content.

This is the place that children can get together, play, laugh and share happy time one another.
This is also the place that children can mix up grown-ups and bring many smiles.
We strongly believe that times and memories we spend together will transform into the energy for them to overcome hard and painful things. This is because we are taking actions now.

To become a bridge between the disaster area and Tokyo

Tamakeriyarou! The reporting event
The state of the reporting event (Tokyo 2012/03/03)

We feel that people, including us living not in Tohoku area, are getting less interested in disaster area gradually in the normal life.
Do you think this is because we feel that the tragedy occurred in the far beyond place, although it should be in our own backyard?

We are taking actions in order to eliminate the gap between disaster area and another by telling people what we saw and heard there through the reporting event etc. And of course, we are trying to bring the hearts of people who harmonize with this project, support us and have no chance to do something to disaster area.
